重庆工贸职业技术学院是重庆市人民政府举办的全日制普通高等职业学校，自1936年建校以来，为国家培养了7万多名技术人才和管理人才。
Chongqing Industrial & Trade Polytechnic is a full-time general higher vocational school held by the people's government of Chongqing. Since the establishment of school in 1936, more than 70,000 technical talents and management talents have been cultivated for the country.
学院位于三峡库区腹地、长江乌江交汇处的榨菜之乡——涪陵。学院占地33万平方米，校舍面积24.89万平方米，固定资产5.47亿元，馆藏图书58.1万册，教学用计算机2352台，教学实验仪器设备总值5856万元，有建筑实训中心等9个校内生产性实训基地，下设工程造价实训室等122个校内实训室。
The college is located in Fuling, the hinterland of the Three Gorges Reservoir Region, and the intersection of Yangtze and Wujiang River, which is also the town of pickled mustard. The college covers an area of 330,000 square meters, in which school buildings cover an area of 248,900 square meters, fixed assets values 547 million, 581,000 collection books, 2352 computers for teaching, a total value of 58.56 million of a teaching experiment instrument and equipment, 9 intramural productive real training bases such as building practical training center, which contains 122 internal training rooms, such as engineering cost real training room.
学院现设有6个教学系：机电工程系、财经贸易系、生物化学工程系、建筑工程系、汽车与电子工程系、艺术与文化传播系，开办了32个专业。目前，学院在校生7000余人，毕业生就业率98%以上。
There are six teaching department: mechanical and electrical, finance and trade, biochemistry, architecture, automobile and electronics, arts and culture departments, including 32 majors. Until now, more than 7000 students in college and the employment rate of graduates is more than 98%.

学院致力于对外交流合作，已经与比利时、加拿大、澳大利亚、香港等多个国家和地区的高校建立了国际合作。现在，已有12名外国学生来校留学。同时学院已于144家企业建立了校企合作，建立了稳定的校外实习实训基地。
